What is Razer Guide?

Razer Guide is a digital or downloadable DC Universe Guide for online play. I was surprised by how comprehensive this guide was considering DCUO only launched January 11, 2011. I found out this guide was in progress long before the official launch and was actually written by gamers who were lucky enough to be Beta test users.

As you would expect, this guide has the typical newbie content like creating your character, how to use the DCUO interface as well as a few tips and things to avoid when creating your character. But the real meat of this guide is all the different areas covering every aspect of your gameplay.

Who Needs a Gaming Guide?

Is a DC Universe guide really necessary for this particular MMO? Lots of people are asking this question as they begin taking aim at reaching the level 30 cap. Since this game has a lot of different components to it, it’s possible that not every single player will be able to get what they need from a game guide.

Let’s face it, there are a few online players who are amazing levelers and they may only require the PVP tips provided in a gaming guide. Then there are those who just want to learn how to generate plenty of money without spending too much time on it.

A few gaming guides are too simple and only give you the basic tips and techniques you’ll need to go through the game for the very first time. While some others go into a lot more detail and show you some of the more advanced methods to follow. It is the latter kind of guide that will put you leaps and bounds ahead of your opponents.
